In their first summer league matchup of this exhibition season, the Pelicans will trot out a starting lineup of Dyson Daniels, Trey Murphy, Naji Marshall, E.J. Liddell and Karlo Matkovic.
A lot of eyes will naturally be on Daniels, the eighth overall pick in the 2022 NBA draft, who signed his contract with New Orleans only several hours ago.

The Trail Blazers haven’t announced their starting lineup yet, but we can be sure that Shaedon Sharpe, the 7th overall pick from the 2022 NBA draft, will not play. He lasted less than six minutes before leaving Portland’s first matchup against the Pistons with an injury. The Athletic’s Shams Charania announced earlier that Sharpe’s MRI revealed a small labral tear in his left shoulder.
