CJ McCollum was downgraded to OUT on yesterday’s injury report, getting placed in health and safety protocols; however, the New Orleans Pelicans will get a boost from another returning player when they tip-off against the Memphis Grizzlies.

After going through his pregame warmup, Trey Murphy III determined his right foot is ready for game action.

In addition, we’ll watch Zion Williamson face Ja Morant for a first time this season. If you may recall, the starting power forward missed New Orleans’ 113-102 victory over Memphis on Nov. 15.

The Pelicans have won five of their last six games; conversely, the Grizzlies have lost four of their last five. Can those trends continue?

Memphis really misses Desmond Bane, who has been out for 10 days and was initially expected to be sidelined for 2-3 weeks after spraining his right big toe.
