The Pelicans will welcome the Detroit Pistons tonight at the Smoothie King Center, the only game on the docket at home in New Orleans this preseason.
In Tuesday’s 129-125 victory over the Chicago Bulls, Brandon Ingram and Trey Murphy did not suit up. Furthermore, Herb Jones was forced to leave the game during halftime after getting hit in the ribs in the first half.
Both Jones and Murphy went through practice yesterday, but Ingram did not.
All three players were listed as questionable on tonight’s injury report, with CJ McCollum already ruled out due to right ankle soreness.
During this morning’s shootaround, Murphy informed media that he’s optimistic about playing against the Pistons. He missed Tuesday’s contest due to an overabundance of caution.
In other team news, Kira Lewis continues with his rehabilitation work, having progressed to three-on-three scrimmages, per Christian Clark.
