The New Orleans Pelicans will be without Zion Williamson for a second straight game when they tip-off against the Phoenix Suns at the top of the hour.
The phenom, though, is expected to return for Sunday’s matchup against the L.A. Clippers.
McCollum and Alvarado are available for #Pelicans at Phoenix. Zion, Herb, Daniels are out. Ingram was previously ruled out and is not on road trip

Joining Williamson (right posterior hip), Brandon Ingram (concussion), Kira Lewis Jr. (ACL injury recovery) and E.J. Liddell (right ACL injury recovery) on the sidelines against the Suns will be Herb Jones (hyperextension right knee) and Dyson Daniels (left ankle sprain).
Fortunately, CJ McCollum (right third PIP) and Jose Alvarado (lower back spasms) will play, after being listed questionable on yesterday’s injury report.
“It’s next man up, right?” Larry Nance Jr. said after this morning’s shootaround. “So last game you saw it, we had eight guys score in double figures. This is a team that can answer any kind of call. Anybody can step up any given night. Hopefully, we can get Trey Murphy to go perfect again.”
