Stan Van Gundy announced in pregame that both Lonzo Ball and Steven Adams, who were questionable on the latest injury report, will be in the starting lineup for Tuesday’s matchup against the Golden State Warriors.
After getting thrashed early in yesterday’s 123-108 loss, the Pelicans could use all the help they can get. Unfortunately, the move probably won’t resolve the team’s shooting woes.
SVG added Lonzo initially hurt his thumb against Minnesota on Saturday.

He had an MRI that cleared him to be able to play tonight. https://t.co/OeTPp82c6n
New Orleans made just 5 of 25 from 3-point range last night — Stephen Curry knocked down 8-18 for reference, and they’ve been mired in an awful slump from deep for over a month. Since April 1, the Pelicans have converted on just 32.2% of their 3-point attempts, making 174 3s on 540 attempts. (FYI: Steph has made 111 of 241 over the same time frame.)
