The New Orleans Pelicans will be without Steven Adams (right first MTP sprain) in their matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves this evening. Josh Hart and Nickeil Alexander-Walker remain sidelined as well.
Although it’s unclear when his starting center will return, Stan Van Gundy said to pregame media that Adams’ injury is not of the season-ending variety. He remains listed as day-to-day.
Willy Hernangomez is drawing the start in Adams’ absence.

The Pelicans are 3-1 on the season when Hernangomez has been in the starting lineup.
The Timberwolves are as healthy as they’ve been all season, with Malik Beasley (hamstring) and Jarrett Culver (ankle) the only players out with injury on Minnesota’s roster.
