When the New Orleans Pelicans tip-off in Atlanta tonight against the Hawks, there will be one player chomping at the bit for this regular season game.
“I’m ready,” Isaiah Thomas said in this morning’s shootaround. “Whatever the opportunity is, whether I play or not, I’m mentally and physically ready. I’ll impact the game, whether it’s on the bench helping the young guys or putting the ball in the basket.”
It’s all systems go for Isaiah, and according to him, he’s in peak physical condition, feeling as healthy as he did prior to the hip issues cropping up four years ago in Boston.
“I’m 102%, so I’m more than good. This is the best I ever felt since before I got injured. It’s not even a question no more.”
Hope to see it, just like most every basketball fan across the league I’m sure.
