Game Thread: Lonzo Ball returning from hip injury for Pelicans matchup against Rockets

Still no Zion or B.I. though

After missing the last seven games, Lonzo Ball is expected to be in the starting lineup tonight as the New Orleans Pelicans battle the Houston Rockets. Steven Adams is also going to play after sitting out the last contest versus the Hawks.

However, Stan Van Gundy told pregame media that Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram remain out of action, and joining them on the sidelines will be Kira Lewis Jr. with a strained right calf.

If you may recall, Josh Hart is looking at an extended absence after tearing the UCL ligament in his right thumb.

Although he won’t play tonight due to health and safety protocols, Isaiah Thomas should be able to join the team tomorrow.
