Game Thread: Pelicans battling Kings for final time this regular season

Did you know that New Orleans is in the midst of an easy portion of the schedule?

After squeezing past the Cavaliers Tuesday, the Kings are on tap tonight for the Pelicans, with the Knicks at home, Wizards away and Knicks away to round out the immediate schedule.

For those who don’t often check the schedule and standings, New Orleans is in the midst of a five-game stretch playing opponents with records of .500 or worse.

Now’s the perfect time for the Pelicans to make a move up the standings and put themselves in the thick of the Play-In Tournament discussions.
