Game Thread: Josh Hart available for Pelicans matchup versus Rockets

NBA: Houston Rockets at New Orleans Pelicans Chuck Cook-USA TODAY Sports

The New Orleans Pelicans will tip-off against the Houston Rockets in less than an hour’s time, and they should have the services of Josh Hart. Hart was questionable to play with back spasms, but he’s available, per Pelicans PR.

Admittedly, this news is a mildly pleasant surprise. Hart didn’t appear to move — to my untrained eye — as well as he typically does while running through his pregame shooting routine. Then again, if there’s one thing we know about Hart, he’s a competitor.

The Rockets will be without Christian Wood (sprained ankle) and Victor Oladipo (rest). Stephen Silas is expected to go with a starting lineup of John Wall, Eric Gordon, Jae’sean Tate, PJ Tucker and DeMarcus Cousins.

For more on tonight’s matchup, please give our preview a read.
