Game plan: Dominate the paint!

The New Orleans Pelicans will look to keep the good times rolling in Chicago Wednesday night by fetching a win over the Bulls.

With Lauri Markkanen and Wendell Carter Jr. out, the Pelicans should look to pound the paint even more than usual. Chicago’s head coach commented in tonight’s pregame on the enormous task facing his team of trying to limit Zion Williamson and Steven Adams.

“We’ve got to bring crowds of people,” Billy Donovan said in pregame. “There’s several challenges with them. Obviously, the size and the physicality is one thing, but they get fouled an awful lot. That’s something that’s been a weakness for us. They get to the free throw line at a very, very high rate. The other part of it is they’re a top 5 offensive rebounding team.”

In their latest loss to the Wizards, the Bulls started Daniel Gafford at center and Patrick Williams at power forward. We should expect Thaddeus Young to get plenty of run off the Bulls bench, too.

Steven, Willy and Z, enjoy the feast.
