The New Orleans Pelicans will battle the Atlanta Hawks, the Eastern Conference finalists from a year ago.
Josh Hart (right quadriceps tendinosis) and Zion Williamson (right foot surgery) are out for the Pelicans. The Hawks will be without Lou Williams, but Danilo Gallinari is available for the first time this season.
De’Andre Hunter, who missed Atlanta’s last game against the Detroit Pistons, is expected to see the court as well. That could prove the key difference-maker as Brandon Ingram (27.0 PPG, 7.5 REB) will have to deal with the Hawks best individual defender.

If the Pelicans are to emerge victorious, the execution is absolutely going to have to be on point. The Hawks don’t beat themselves. They do a great job of controlling the glass and keep turnovers to a minimum. In addition, they shoot better than league average from 3-point range and the free throw line.
