The New Orleans Pelicans final preseason game will feature a different starting lineup than from the previous two contests: Devonte’ Graham, Tomas Satoransky, Trey Murphy III, Garrett Temple and Jonas Valanciunas.
With no Brandon Ingram nor Zion Williamson, it was bound to look a little lean against the Utah Jazz, who will be rolling with their usual five starters of Donovan Mitchell, Mike Conley Jr., Bojan Bogdanovic, Royce O’Neal and Rudy Gobert.
As for when we may actually see Zion in uniform, he doesn’t appear close to a return.
Willie Green says Zion Williamson will “get some scans” in the next day or two on his right foot and they’ll proceed from there on what’s next.

Williamson has not started running yet, they are waiting on scans for that.
Has continued to shoot and do some dribbling.
There’s a regular season game to be played in nine days, but Williamson hasn’t been cleared yet to run. I’m usually an optimist, but I don’t see any way he is suited up for that game. In addition, it sure feels like he’s going to miss time measured in weeks.
Sigh.
