The New Orleans Pelicans are closing out the 2019-20 regular season tonight against the Orlando Magic.

Many believed the Pelicans were going to make a strong push for these playoffs just seven bubble games ago, but the best W/L record they can hope to achieve in this restart of play is 3-5 with a win against the Magic in a few hours.

Disappointing, but as Zion Williamson said in this morning’s shootaround, “We’re not in the playoffs and we didn’t reach the goal we wanted to reach, but our potential for the future is bright. That’s a starting point, and you just build off that.”

Lonzo Ball is not expected to play so we’ll get a close look at the entire group of reserves.

Let’s see some standout performances and pray for no injuries in this final hour.
