Game 51: Giannis Antetokounmpo (unstoppable force) meets Zion Williamson (immovable object) for first time in Pelicans-Bucks matchup

New, comments

Milwaukee is the best in the business, but New Orleans has played well at times since Zion’s returned. Could the unthinkable happen??

We’ve got some must-see tv tonight on national television (TNT @ 6:30 p.m.): Giannis Antetokounmpo vs Zion Williamson.

Even though the league’s MVP favorite has 504 regular season games on the New Orleans Pelicans rookie, there isn’t a basketball fan who doesn’t want to see these two giants do battle. Sure, Giannis has a crazy edge in experience and could get Zion into foul trouble in the blink of an eye, but after witnessing glimpses of Williamson’s athleticism and size through six career games, one should be begging to see them go head-to-head.

With a record of 42-7, the Milwaukee Bucks are more than just Giannis though. Their starting lineup is one of the best in the business, with Eric Bledsoe, Wesley Matthews, Khris Middleton, Brook Lopez and the superstar posting a +15.5 Net Rating as a group.

In case you’ve missed it, the New Orleans Pelicans latest starting lineup (Lonzo Ball, Jrue Holiday, Brandon Ingram, Zion Williamson and Derrick Favors) has been gangbusters, posting a +29.1 Net Rating in 73 minutes of action.
