The Golden State Warriors represent an easy target that the New Orleans Pelicans must beat and put in the win column.
Not only do the Pelicans need to claw and scratch their way into as many victories as possible in an attempt to squeeze into the playoffs, they’re the vastly superior team entering tonight’s matchup. There’s no Steph, no Klay and no Dray.
Jamile wrote in today’s preview that Zion Williamson could go off for 40 points. I’m with him. I think that someone on the Pelicans is likely to register a monster game. Maybe it’ll be Zion. Or it could be Lonzo Ball. Perhaps the best outcome though would be seeing each member of the regular rotation not receive more than 25 minutes. Let’s see Frank Jackson or Nickeil Alexander-Walker made a nice little impact and then have the main group ready to go full bore in two night’s time against the Lakers in Los Angeles!
Geaux Pels!
