While RJ Hampton is an interesting prospect, the Pelicans obviously were not high on him and they certainly didn’t need to pursue the addition of another guard to this roster. Apparently, New Orleans either had no targets in this area of the draft or perhaps a name or two just slipped from their grasp.
Stay tuned for further updates on Kira Lewis Jr. and the Pelicans remaining draft selections in the 2020 NBA Draft. Up next, the Pelicans are scheduled to select a player at #39 in the second round.
