The New Orleans Pelicans are going to be well represented in Chicago during the All-Star Weekend 2020 festivities as Brandon Ingram was announced a reserve yesterday and then earlier today Zion Williamson (Team USA) and Nickeil Alexander-Walker (World Team) were named participants of the Rising Stars Challenge. Count them, that’s three players from the Pelicans squad!

Good times should be had in about two weeks time, but all the focus should be on the Memphis Grizzlies. After tonight, New Orleans will either trail them by four or six games in the standings, with another 33 to go on the schedule.
One bit of good news: In addition to Jaren Jackson Jr. (1-game suspension), Marko Guduric (1-game suspension), Grayson Allen (left hip injury) and Bruno Caboclo (left knee soreness) being out, the Grizzlies could also be missing De’Anthony Melton (left hand soreness) and Brandon Clarke (left hip soreness).
Update: De’Anthony Melton (left hand soreness) has been upgraded from doubtful to questionable for tonight’s game at New Orleans. https://t.co/HLcxgzT32L
