Y’all, we’re finally here. Zion Williamson is just minutes away from appearing in his first regular season minutes for the New Orleans Pelicans.
Calm before the storm.

Zion Williamson t-minus 3.5 hours and it’s going to be a crazy sea of red.
Everything’s pointing to a special night. Can you feel it too? pic.twitter.com/2PXyfZ4lD7
Looking back, preseason seems like a lifetime ago. We’re not going to scrutinize all the negative details, but let’s just say things couldn’t have trended worse until about a week before Christmas Day. Fortunately, the Pelicans did an about face and have posted an 11-5 record in their last 16 games.
And now Zion debuts tonight. The 19-year-old phenom out of Duke has been tantalizing basketball lovers since high school and now New Orleans gets a chance to feast their eyes on the most exciting player to enter the league since LeBron James.
I’m already floating around on cloud 9, but let’s pray for some beautiful memories!
