Six games left on the docket but the finish line can’t be crossed fast enough — not only has the 2018-19 regular season been a major disappointment but the New Orleans Pelicans are running out of bodies.
Jrue Holiday and E’Twaun Moore have been out for awhile now, but Anthony Davis is slated to miss his second straight game due to back spasms, and after sustaining a concussion against the Atlanta Hawks, Frank Jackson is out of tonight’s action. In their steads against the Sacramento Kings will be Jahlil Okafor and Ian Clark.
With no Holiday on the court, will Buddy Hield torch the Pelicans from deep? (He is leading the league in three-point percentage.) Will De’Aaron Fox carve up the defense? From the Pelicans perspective, can Christian Wood impress again after posting a 23-point, 9-rebound and 6-block effort?
