Anthony Davis is back after resting in Friday’s game against the Trail Blazers. However, it will be more interesting to monitor just how much run Alvin Gentry will allot Julius Randle, Elfrid Payton and Frank Jackson after playing 42, 41 and 36 minutes respectively last night and who then soaks up that available court time.
The Pelicans head coach explicitly stated to pregame media that Julius will not come close to matching yesterday’s workload against the Trail Blazers and hinted that Cheick Diallo should directly benefit. Lets hope that Dairis Bertans fits into the equation somehow as well!
For more on today’s matchup, give my preview a perusal at your leisure. Also, in case you missed it, please go check out Kevin and Chris’ great article detailing eight candidates that should be in consideration to run the Pelicans front office right now!!
