Game 60: Elfrid Payton returns, Darius Miller out as New Orleans Pelicans face Indiana Pacers

How will Indiana fans treat Anthony Davis?

NBA: New Orleans Pelicans at Memphis Grizzlies Justin Ford-USA TODAY Sports

The New Orleans Pelicans kick off the second half of the season tonight against the Indiana Pacers. Amid the disappointing Anthony Davis saga — and it’ll be interesting to see how the Indiana fans treat him after giving Brandon Ingram grief when the Lakers were in town, there is good news in the form of Elfrid Payton who is returning to the starting lineup after missing the last nine games due to a sprained right ankle.

On the the other hand, Darius Miller is out due to a right ankle sprain of his own.

Alvin Gentry is starting Payton, Jrue Holiday, Kenrich Williams, Anthony Davis and Julius Randle while Nate McMillan is countering with Darren Collison Wesley Matthews, Bojan Bogdanovic, Thaddeus Young and Kyle O’Quinn.

Myles Turner is out so O’Quinn is starting in his place, keeping Domantas Sabonis in his usual role off the bench.

Geaux Pelicans!
