Game 9: JJ Redick and Kenrich Williams move into starting lineup for New Orleans Pelicans in matchup with Charlotte Hornets

After threatening to shake things up after last night’s loss to the Toronto Raptors, Alvin Gentry is inserting a couple of new faces into the starting lineup.

JJ Redick will replace an injured Lonzo Ball, who is out with an abductor injury, and Kenrich Williams, who has appeared in just 17 combined minutes the last two games — a lot of them inconsequential, will also be on the court at tip-off.

It’s no secret: the New Orleans Pelicans have been bad in a lot of areas but especially defensively and on the glass. Nicolo Melli, who has started the last three games, moves back to the bench as he failed to make the desired impact. Williams should help on the glass and defensively, but will the offense be able to maintain it’s season pace?
