The NBA is yet to log a full month’s slate of games, but one would never know the season is so fresh by looking at the New Orleans Pelicans injury report.
Minutes ago, it was announced that Brandon Ingram (right knee soreness) would join Lonzo Ball (right abductor strain), Zion Williamson (right knee scope), Jahlil Okafor (left ankle sprain), Darius Miller (Achilles), Josh Hart (left knee/ankle sprain) and JJ Redick (left toe sprain) on the sidelines due to injury.
Interestingly, the Miami Heat will also be without four players: Justise Winslow (concussion), Goran Dragic (illness), Derrick Jones Jr. (hip) and KZ Okpala (Achilles). After being questionable to play due to illness, Jimmy Butler is expected to try and gut it out on the court.
For more on tonight’s matchup, please give Preston’s preview a read, and don’t miss the turnaround Derrick Favors is currently experiencing — hey a positive among all the walking wounded!
Geaux Pels!!
