The New Orleans Pelicans will be without {takes a deep breath} Anthony Davis, Nikola Mirotic, Julius Randle, E’Twaun Moore and Elfrid Payton against the Houston Rockets.
Elfrid Payton is OUT tonight with a right ankle sprain.

That means Pels are without Anthony Davis, Nikola Mirotic, Julius Randle, E'Twaun Moore AND their starting point guard.
In other words, we’ll be watching Jrue Holiday, James Harden, the ghost of Chris Paul and pretty much a G League pick-em lineup.
To be fair, it’ll be fun to watch Frank Jackson and Jahlil Okafor play all the minutes they can handle plus maybe Cheick Diallo, Kenrich Williams or someone else can make us smile momentarily, but it should likely all be in a losing effort.
Harden has been on fire for seemingly since time began and the Rockets have put themselves back in the mix for a home court advantage in at least the first round of the playoffs.

Also, in case you missed it, we’ve put up numerous articles since Anthony Davis and his group asked for a trade. And if you haven’t listened yet, check out our latest podcast!
