Can Pelicans bounce back after dropping contest against Timberwolves to finish five-game road trip in strong fashion?

And what to expect from the rest of the Western Conference in direct competition for final few playoff slots.

NBA: New Orleans Pelicans at Minnesota Timberwolves Jesse Johnson-USA TODAY Sports

We come together after another Pelicans clutch-time loss, this time to the Minnesota Timberwolves on the first leg of a five-game road trip. Now that the Pelicans are healthy with Elfrid Payton, Nikola Mirotic and E’Twaun Moore all back, can this team salvage the rest of the year and somehow make the playoffs?

If the Pelicans fall out during the remainder of this road swing, what does that mean for the rest of the season? Is anybody, player or coach, on the move? Trevor says the team is confident, but will that be enough to bring them back?

Trevor and I try to figure out who the best teams in the west are. Will the Lakers make a move? Will the Sacramento Kings or Dallas Mavericks shock the world? Lastly, the guys hand out mid-season awards, including MVP, Defensive Player of the Year, Coach of the Year, Luka of the Year and more. Also: Rodions Kurucs!
