Game 25: New Orleans Pelicans to welcome E’Twaun Moore back after one-game absence against Los Angeles Clippers

New, comments

Some good news because all hands will be needed on deck against the West-leading Clips!

When teammates had to help E’Twaun Moore back to the locker room in Miami, one figured he would probably miss a week or two at a minimum. Nope, that’s not how the guy who didn’t miss a single game last season rolls because after sitting out the contest against the Hornets, Alvin Gentry says Moore is ready to rejoin the rotation tonight.

That’s great news because this week is going to be an important one. New Orleans has three straight games at home against competition sitting above them in the Western Conference standings: the Clippers, Mavericks and Grizzlies.

First things first, the Pelicans need to find a way to replicate their performance from the opening week of the season. New Orleans knocked off this same L.A. squad by a 116-109 score and they accomplished the feat by keeping turnovers to a minimum (8) while preventing the Clippers from catching fire on the outside (5-20 3PTA).
