The losing has to stop, and it has to stop now against the breakout backcourt of De’Aaron Fox and our good old friend, Buddy Hield.
Amidst a three-game skid, it’s too early to call this a ‘must-win’ but it’s about as close as it gets as the Pels have lost 11 of 16 and sit just half a game from 14th in the Western Conference standings. The Pelicans will once again be without Nikola Mirotic and Elfrid Payton, and E’Twaun Moore has been a shell of himself as of late.
Meanwhile, the Kings have one of the better young backcourts in the league, headlined by Fox and Hield. Can the Pelicans slow them down and stop the bleeding?
