Game 33: Anthony Davis, LeBron James, Julius Randle and Rajon Rondo will all play and surely put on a show

Tonight, in front of a nationally televised audience on ESPN, the New Orleans Pelicans can silence the national media, for at least one moment.

Do you want to be slammed with trade rumors for three hours straight with a critical Western Conference matchup sprinkled in?

Then you’ve come to the right place!

The New Orleans Pelicans are desperately treading water with an ever-growing list of maladies, including four of their six most significant players (five if you throw in a missing-in-action E’Twaun Moore).

But this is no time for any more excuses. The Pelicans need to get back into the win column yesterday as the first six seeds continue to create distance between themselves and the rest of the West.

However, a brief win streak puts the Pelicans right back into the conversation and out of the ever-swirling trade columns. Victories over the Lakers, Kings and Mavericks would immediately vault the Pelicans back into the mix, just in time for some of their core players to return to health.

The Lakers have lost three of four, but will have everyone available — including LeBron James and Rajon Rondo — but for JaVale McGee. As for the Pelicans, Anthony Davis, Julius Randle and Ian Clark will play.

Can the Pelicans still manage to quiet the gossip on the national stage?
