NBA: New Orleans Pelicans at Miami Heat Jasen Vinlove-USA TODAY Sports

The New Orleans Pelicans will welcome back one of their three key sidelined players in E’Twaun Moore against the Miami Heat. The 14.0-point scorer had missed the previous two games with a calf injury sustained a few weeks ago to this same Heat team on tap tonight. Nikola Mirotic (sprained ankle) and Elfrid Payton (finger fracture) remain out for head coach Alvin Gentry.

As you may remember, the Pelicans lost to the Heat in Miami on November 30 by a final score of 106-101. New Orleans fell behind by as many as 30 points in the first half before almost coming back to an improbable victory.

The biggest news before tip-off undoubtedly though has to be that this game marks the last time New Orleans fans will get a change to see Dwyane Wade. In case you haven’t heard, Wade is retiring after this season after 16 years in the league.
