Anthony Davis, who was a game-time decision, will return for Alvin Gentry and the New Orleans Pelicans as they host the Boston Celtics.
After pre game warm ups, the @PelicansNBA Anthony Davis got checked out by athletic trainers. They say that right sprained hip is good to go tonight. AD will play vs the #Celtics. Tip-off coming up in @FOXSportsNOLA.

Brad Stevens, on the other hand, will be without Jaylen Brown, one of his starting wings and a key to last season’s very successful playoff run.
Both teams are coming in wounded for this one — Pelicans having lost three in a row and Celtics losers four of five; however, New Orleans has a very healthy 8-1 home record and Boston is 2-5 against the Western Conference thus far.
In pregame, Gentry alerted the media that he is fully aware of the bench’s struggles to this point and he will soon make some changes if the negatives persist. Could that happen tonight?
