Earlier in the day, Anthony Davis was listed as questionable with a right hip strain on the New Orleans Pelicans injury report and considered a game-time decision. In the last hour though, the Pelicans PR department announced that he would miss tonight’s contest against the Washington Wizards.
This marks the fourth contest Davis will miss on the 2018-19 schedule, but there remains a good chance he’ll approach or even surpass the 75 games waterline from each of the last two seasons. Last year, Davis missed his fourth game on December 6th. I guess he just likes to miss them early!
As for the Wizards, Dwight Howard was also questionable entering tonight, and he’s been ruled out, too.
Howard is OUT tonight. https://t.co/ufaIEcVY5g
