While most will either be tuned into the return of LeBron James to Cleveland or Kevin Durant facing Russell Westbrook for the umpteenth time, Philadelphia will be the site tonight of the battle of the titans: Anthony Davis vs Joel Embiid.

Although the two MVP candidates have shared the floor three times in their careers, we’re yet to witness the fireworks one would expect to see from a clash of this magnitude. DavisPelicans have won just once, but he has individually dominated Embiid in the stat department: 23.7 points and 11.7 rebounds vs. 16.3 points and 9.7 rebounds.

Of course, Ben Simmons, Jimmy Butler, Jrue Holiday, Julius Randle and Nikola Mirotic will also take part in a contest featuring two teams on the up and up. The Pelicans have won six of their last seven games while the 76ers have won four of five.
