The New Orleans Pelicans will tip-off in about an hour’s time against the New York Knicks, who have won just once in their last six games and will throw out a bunch of youngsters against Anthony Davis, Jrue Holiday and company.
Allonzo Trier, Knox, Mudiay, Robinson, and THJ starting tonight for the Knicks in New Orleans

For those interested, that’s a 22-year-old, a 19-year-old, another 22-year-old, a 20-year-old and Tim Hardaway Jr., the grizzled 26-year-old veteran.
With Kristaps Porzingis in the midst of rehabbing an ACL tear in his left knee and he’s still without a concrete timetable for a return, the Knicks would be wise anyways to already look to the future because at the end of the rainbow sits a pot of gold. Zion Williamson and a few of his Duke brethren will be available in the upcoming 2018 NBA Draft so why not try and lose as many games as possible!
As for New Orleans, Alvin Gentry thinks he’ll have Elfrid Payton back in the lineup after his starting point guard missed nine games due to an ankle sprain.
Gentry anticipates @elfrid playing tonight but he's still questionable. Gentry they won't know till he goes through his full pregame workout #doitBIG

The Pelicans are over 10-point favorite according to Las Vegas so it should be smooth sledding but mixed performances of late give rise to concern. For more on tonight’s game, please give Preston’s preview a read and don’t forget to check out his stellar article on E’Twaun Moore.
