NBA: New Orleans Pelicans at Sacramento Kings Kelley L Cox-USA TODAY Sports

Who’s ready for The Blender to come alive for the first time this season?!?

The New Orleans Pelicans are kicking off their home portion of the schedule against the Sacramento Kings in about an hour’s time. You can catch the broadcast on Fox Sports New Orleans at 7:00 p.m. Central or listen in over the airwaves at 99.5 FM WRNO.

The Kings are coming off a close 123-117 loss to the Jazz in their opener. They jumped out to an 18-4 lead, but a 38-21 second quarter surge by Utah contributed to the defeat. Willie Cauley-Stein led the Kings with 23 points, but their entire starting lineup finished in double figures. Former Pelican Buddy Hield posted a line of 19 points and six rebounds.

Per the latest injury report update, only the name of Julius Randle (Left Plantar Fasciitis) appears on New Orleans list. He is probable to play. For more details on today’s matchup, please check out our game preview.
