Exhibition talk can be cheap, but we promise that at least the listen will be fun!

On this seventh podcast edition, we primarily focus on the New Orleans Pelicans through two games in the summer league, individually breaking down the play of the entire roster, discuss the Darius Miller addition and mention why Jamelle McMillan acting as the head coach in Las Vegas and DeMarcus Cousins hanging with Dell Demps are all good things.

Through two games, Cheick Diallo and Quinn Cook have acquitted themselves incredibly well. However, we not only focus on all of the good aspects — highlighting some downright spectacular plays — but also point out areas these two players need to exhibit further development. If Diallo and Cook are destined for the regular rotation, expect the coaching staff to demand improvement in their weaknesses.

Next, listen to who we like out of the following group: James Young, Jalen Jones and Axel Toupane — it’s likely to be different from the majority. Unfortunately, there are few positives to be said about the remainder of the guys on the roster.

The announcement of Darius Miller returning in training camp is pleasant news, but he is going to have to show that he’s a more aggressive and better rounded player since the last time we saw him in New Orleans.
