According to the lineups used by the coaches during the morning practice sessions, the US and World teams likely revealed the expected starting lineups for the 2017 Risings Stars Challenge game which is set to tip-off at 8:00pm CST.
During the World team’s practice, coach Mike Brown had a unit consisting of Dante Exum, Buddy Hield, Dario Saric, Kristaps Porzingis and Nikola Jokic run through a couple of specific plays.
Once team USA took the floor and coach Jay Larranaga was in the process of dictating offense, D’Angelo Russell, Devin Booker, Brandon Ingram, Marquese Chriss and Karl-Anthony Towns were the five players following his lead.
If these lineups holds true, expect Hield and Booker to guard each other during the game. Interestingly, the two engaged in quick dialogue when the the World team was leaving the basketball court as team USA entered.

One last thing that Kevin and I noted this morning was the fact that Buddy Hield appeared to be the loudest voice in huddles, often leading or being in the thick of many discussions.
During the World team’s three-point knockout competition — in which Hield won — Buddy was engaged in what appeared to be a lot of light-hearted conversation with several teammates but most notably with Jokic. Could Hield be buttering up the big man so that he is the recipient of a number of passes for open three-point attempts?
If so, good plan!
