The players may be getting ready to participate in voluntary workouts again.

A number of the New Orleans Pelicans are currently in the state of California, and more importantly, several of the players have been seen working out together on social media.

Alexis Ajinca and Terrence Jones have spent time on a track under the watchful supervision of the team’s head strength coach, Jason Sumerlin.

In addition, there exists video of Ajinca and Quincy Pondexter working together on a basketball court. In particular, be sure to pay attention to how well QPon seems to be moving, both making solid cuts and showing some bursts of speed.

It’s also worth noting that on Ajinca’s Instagram post above, Pondexter left a reply.

“Way to work big fella!!! We got a lot to prove.”

Almost precisely one year ago, ten players from last season’s team met in California and participated in voluntary workouts. The team visit to Los Angeles was organized by Pondexter and Anthony Davis . Could the duo be planning to hold similar workouts in the same region again in the very near future?

Although Davis has yet to appear sweating alongside his teammates, he is in California as he was seen at OUE Skyspace, a local tourist attraction.

It can be assumed Jrue Holiday is also in the area as he attended an Adele concert at Staples Center with his wife several days ago.

It's about to go down!!!! #AdeleConcert

Hey, that’s a total of five players accounted for in Los Angeles, California. Will we see more teammates join the rest of the group in coming days? It did appear Solomon Hill was at an airport yesterday...
