The 2016 NBA Draft kicks off at 6 PM on ESPN tonight. Who will the New Orleans Pelicans select with the sixth pick? Unlike like the last time they had the sixth pick and Trey Burke was a near consensus in mock drafts (and ultimately turned into Nerlens Noel and then Jrue Holiday) this year there is little consensus on draft day.
However, every single mock draft we're tracking does think the Pelicans are going to take a guard. Three mock drafts have New Orleans taking Providence point guard Kris Dunn; CBS Sports, USA Today, and Sporting News. Two mock drafts have another one-and-done Kentucky player, Jamal Murray, joining Anthony Davis. Two more, Bleacher Report and ESPN's most recent one by Chad Ford, zero in on sharpshooting Oklahoma guard Buddy Hield.
Will the Pelicans actually take a guard? Will they even keep the pick?
