Pelicans vs Lakers game thread: New Orleans looks to slow the young guns out of L.A.

Can Anthony Davis rise above the balanced attack of the Lakers?

Sergio Estrada-USA TODAY Sports

Since starting the season 1-3, the Los Angeles Lakers have won 4 of 5 games, which includes wins over the Golden State Warriors and Atlanta Hawks. Leading the charge has been none other than Lou Williams. From off the bench, he is averaging 17.6 points, 3.6 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 2.2 assists in just 24 minutes of action during this stretch. In all, five Lakers are averaging double digit scoring to propel the Lakers into the 8th seed during the early days of the Western Conference race.

Meanwhile, I just want to drop one tidbit regarding the New Orleans Pelicans. You know that fella named Anthony Davis?
