Well, well, well. It looks like one of the most revered collegiate coaches has an interest giving the NBA a second shot. After compiling a lowly 39.1 winning percentage across three seasons in New Jersey (1996-99), Coach Calipari is salivating at improving that record through Anthony Davis, Tyreke Evans and company.
Five months ago, our own Jamile Dunn examined this very scenario. It's safe to say it's very relevant again considering Calipari has decided to throw his hat in New Orleans.
Even though Anthony and Tyreke are in NOLA, I have no interest in the Pelicans or any other job. I have a great job and I'm happy at UK.— John Calipari (@UKCoachCalipari) May 19, 2015
