Pelicans vs. Warriors Game 3; NBA Playoffs 2015: Time, TV schedule, radio and more

Let the good times roll!

Derick E. Hingle-USA TODAY Sports

For the first time in over a week, the Pelicans will return to the comfy confines of the Smoothie King Center. The last time a game was played on this floor, they created a number of happy memories.

Tonight, the stakes will be even bigger. New Orleans is down 0-2 to Golden State, but overall they played fairly well in Oakland. After a 106-99 loss in Game 1, where an Anthony Davis-inspired 4th quarter comeback fell just short, the Pelicans gave the Warriors everything they could handle in Game 2. With 4:03 remaining, Davis had missed a 15 footer to tie the score at 88 apiece before ultimately running out of gas.

With their competitive play, fans expect a good showing Thursday night, and more than likely, a win in Game 3. Although the series started with the notion a #1 seed was supposed to easily outclass this #8 longshot, the individual players currently couldn't disagree more. Davis feels a win is within their grasp.

We know we can beat this team.  You know, we just didn't execute in those last three minutes.  We were right there tied up going into the fourth, down 2 with four minutes left.

The Pelicans are confident and they'll be ready to put forth another wonderful effort; however, they are ready for some support.

We're going back home, so I mean, we're on our home floor.  Our crowd is going to be just like this crowd if not better.  Not that can you top this because it's pretty hectic in here.  But we're going to need them, you know.

Thus, New Orleans and the capacity crowd of 16,867 needs to roar like never before. Geaux Pelicans! #TakeFlight #PlayOn
