The New Orleans Pelicans are one of two remaining teams without a win on the road. Of course, the other are the winless Sixers so it's high time Gentry's squad separates themselves from the Hinkie disaster.
Although the Phoenix Suns have lost 3 of their last 4 games, they normally play well at home as evidenced by a 5-3 record. (Off the subject, is there anyone who likes the name of their venue, Talking Stick Resort Arena? Yeesh!)
Eric Bledsoe did not play in their most recent loss to the San Antonio Spurs and at last check is questionable to play tonight. The Suns play noticeable slipped Friday after he left the game in the third quarter and tonight's matchup could be decided on whether he suits up. If not, Brandon Knight will have a larger burden, but the Pelicans should be able to game plan better to minimize the threat.
The Pelicans have ridden the backs of Ryan Anderson and Anthony Davis in their last two wins, averaging 55.5 points, 24.5 rebounds, 5.5 threes and 3.5 blocks. Ish Smith has also carried his weight well: 17 ppg, 10 apg, 6.5 rpg and 1.5 spg.
