- The old adage of no news is good news failed New Orleans again:
The New Orleans Pelicans announced today that guard Jrue Holiday underwent a successful surgery to correct a stress fracture in his right tibia. He will miss the remainder of the season.
Of course, he did. After weeks and weeks of absolutely zero updates, the outcome naturally had to be of #TheWorst variety. As David tweeted earlier, this Pelican season has really been unlucky.
Last year Anderson and Holiday missed a combined 5 games. This season they will miss 108 combined games.

- Tyreke Evans had an interesting thing happen earlier today. He got stuck on an elevator, hours before he was scheduled to make his first start of the season as a Pelican. OF COURSE HE DID.
