Tonight, community members will have another opportunity to play in a FanDuel tournament among their favorite commentators, writers and editors. The entry fee is $5 dollars, but this specific tournament will be capped to the first 110 entries. First prize is $100 and the top 20 finishers will walk away with something.
If you haven't set up an account yet and live outside of Louisiana, now is the perfect time. When you sign-up, FanDuel will match your deposit, up to $200. Remember, once you've created your lineup, go hit twitter and be sure to use the hashtag #FanDuelSBN.
Which players should you be targeting?
First the don'ts: always try to avoid all those who have recently returned from injury/illness (Gary Neal), are currently banged up (Marc Gasol, Paul Pierce), are slumping (Jeremy Lin), or face a difficult individual or team match-up (a Philly team facing a win hungry OKC squad).
Do look to fill your roster with cheap options that are in line for big minutes or increased usage. For instance, DeMarcus Cousins is slated to miss tonight's game against the Pacers due to illness. Expect Rudy Gay to fill some of the void, but Ben McLemore might post solid value due to having more opportunity. In Cousins last few missed games, Reggie Evans has posted several solid lines in over 30 minutes of playing time.
Another name to consider is Jason Terry as both Patrick Beverley and Isaiah Canaan are listed as out tonight. The JET has been money the last two games and the Rockets are facing a weak Wolves team.
