Performance Rankings: Pelicans vs. Suns

New, comments

Tyreke Evans carries the Pelicans down the stretch with 8 of their final 10 points.

Derick E. Hingle-USA TODAY Sports

With a 110-106 victory, the Pelicans added another important win tonight against a Western Conference team, this time against the Suns. They are now 4-0 against teams that could conceivably be battling for the 8th and final playoff spot: OKC x 2, SAS and PHX.

Tyreke Evans lead the team with 24 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Jrue Holiday went for 21 points and 6 assists and Anthony Davis had 19 and 18. Ryan Anderson led the way from the bench with 19 and didn't miss any shots until his final two attempts. However, the biggest surprise came from seldom-used Jimmer Fredette. In 21 minutes, he tallied 9 points and 4 assists, but more importantly, he never looked lost as he more than held his ground defensively.

Stay tuned for Quentin's full recap a bit later, but please, celebrate tonight's huge victory with your votes and/or in the comments section below. Geaux Pellies!
