Performance Rankings: Pelicans at Thunder

New, comments

With a 2 point lead, the Pelicans failed to score in the final 2:58 of the game, but they miraculously still managed to walk away with the win.

Mark D. Smith-USA TODAY Sports

The Pelicans managed to sneak out of Oklahoma with a win, 101-99. Defense, specifically on Russell Westbrook, was the difference down the stretch. In the 3rd quarter, Westbrook either made his attempts or got to the foul line. In the 4th, not so much.

Anthony Davis had a huge game: 38 points and 12 rebounds. Jrue Holiday and Tyreke Evans were mostly off, but they still combined for 23 points and 22 assists. The bench was very good, especially in the first half.

After a disappointing loss 24 hours ago, the Pelicans have now beaten the Thunder twice this season. Stay tuned for David Fisher's recap, but in the meantime, rejoice with your votes or opinions in the comment section below.
