Performance Rankings: Pelicans at Wizards

While you wait for the recap, give your immediate reactions to the game and rate everyone's performances.

Brett Davis-USA TODAY Sports

The Pelicans lose a close one, 83-80. With the team's strength failing yet again, the loss should have been inevitable, yet we had a chance in the final moments to send the game to overtime. The team failed to get a good look and Tyreke Evans, who was 2 of 14, ended up shooting a very low percentage fade-away three pointer.

For the game, Anthony Davis led the way with 30 points and 13 rebounds. Jrue Holiday was hot early but still ended up with 17 points. Ryan Anderson chipped in with 11 and John Salmons added 9 off the bench. Once again, Austin Rivers wasn't a factor as the starting 2 guard. Probably time for that experiment to end.

Quentin will have a recap for you all shortly, but in the meantime, go ahead and throw up some votes, not your dinners. SIgh.
