For the first time this season, the Pelicans just didn't have it. Sure, the first few minutes or so went there way, but after that, it was all Denver. FSNO gave Anthony Davis the game ball with 18 points and 9 rebounds, but he clearly wasn't the dominate AD we've seen in practically every other game this season.
As should be expected, there were very few positives. Players missed countless lay-ins, even less from the perimeter and while the game was still in reach, the Pelicans didn't seem to get too many calls from the referees.
