The New Orleans Pelicans were reported to have met with Sacramento Kings restricted free agent guard Tyreke Evans and to have made him an offer. TNT's David Aldridge:
As @ESPNSteinLine reported, Pelicans will meet with Tyreke Evans late tonight. Told they will have an offer sheet in hand--a big one.

As usnfish and other cap-wise At the Hivers have pointed out, New Orleans can clear out up to about 12.5-ish million if they waive non-guaranteed deals; that'd obviously be a huge increase on Evans' ~$7M qualifying offer.
It's unclear how large an offer Sacramento would be willing to match, especially after their drafting of shooting guard prospect Ben McLemore. More as it breaks.
